Collage
The term collage derives from the French term papiers collés, used to describe techniques of pasting paper cutouts onto various surfaces. It was first used as an artists’ technique in the early twentieth century. With collage you get in touch with your inner self, while at the same time you interact with your awakening mind. The process is extremely enjoyable and in addition to a personal work of art, you gain a tool to get to know yourself and to express yourself artistically. Unlike dreams, which over time recede and fade, collage gives us tangible clues to the dialogues that take place in the background of our mind. It’s as if life and collage are coalescing to show you a new path, or to confirm that the path you’re on is the right one for you at the moment.
